Have a look at
THIS
DOCUMENT and check whether
you count among the side of the Johanek family I’ve charted. Then you can trace
the degree of kinship you are related to (???) me or someone else of our family.
I still miss further particulars about a life of the undermentioned persons. I
hope that in this way I’ll succeed in making contact with somebody who’ll be
able to send me any report, no matter how comprehensive it may be. Perhaps the
relative him/herself will contact me? :-)

I suppose that Anna didn’t
leave “blindly” for the USA, his brother-in-law emigrated with his wife to the
USA in 60’s in the 19th century. It was
Jakub (Jacob) Johanek
(1839-1922) - brother of Jan Johanek, and Marie Hrdinova (*?1839-1913).
Progeny of this one of my relatives you can find on
THIS WEBSITE, created by my
distant cousin Sean McGinnis (*1965), a descendant of Jakub Johanek.
On
this website I’ve
found an advert (in English) asking about these of my relatives. I tried to
reply to the advertisement but my words didn’t hit home, I haven’t got any
answer.
Here I publish the advert
unabridged, in case that the address of it’s location wouldn’t work.
The name “Anna Radil” it’s
only a garbled version of the original name “Anna Radej” (Radejova in Czech).
the advertisement:
Researching: JOHANEK, RADIL,
PAZDERKA, PASDERKA, JAROLIM, LISA, LISKA, FILIP, MARCAL, ZAJIC, MIRASKY,
MIRATSKY
I am looking for information on the families of Wenceslaus
and Anna (Radil) Johanek, and Vaclav and Aloisie (Jarolim) Pazderka. Both
families settled in Omaha Nebraska in the 1880s. Wenceslaus and Anna had six
children: John (Ludmila Marcal), Peter (Marie Lisa), Katrina (Vaclav Filip),
Martin (Anna Zajic), George (Mary Theresa), and Anna. Vaclav and Aloisie had
eight children: Frank (Mary Filip), Mary (John Mirasky), James (Frances
Johanek), Anna, Joseph, Anton, Charles, Rose (Peter Johanek).
